Who?

Founded in 1984, Rochester Independent College offers a distinctive alternative to traditional education. With individuality at its heart, RIC gives students the freedom, support and confidence to shape their own path — whether that leads to art school, medical school or somewhere entirely unexpected.

What?

We were asked to create a brand identity that reflects RIC’s unconventional approach — one that stands apart in a landscape steeped in tradition.

Our creative strategy centred on one of the school’s core tenets: “come as you are, leave as you want to be.” An idea that champions self-expression, and celebrates education as a personal journey, not a predefined route.
