Who?

Empress is one of the finest litho printers in the UK. Based in Royal Woolwich Dockyard in south east London, it specialises in fine art repro and precision finishing. Partnering with some of the capital’s best design agencies, Empress has produced award-winning print for the past 30 years and counting.

What?

We devised a stylised E / Crown monogram and a positioning for Empress as ‘London’s Print Royalty’. This was paired with a suite of striking graphic patterns inspired by royal heraldry — picking up on their location at an ex-Royal Naval warehouse and reflecting their second-to-none service.
